Tipping Point Community is a non-profit that works to break the cycle of inequality in the Bay Area through advancing proven poverty-fighting solutions. The Financial Justice Project in the Office of the Treasurer of San Francisco requested a custom design template, with original data visualizations, for a financial impact report. The Payback Problem outlines the impact of requiring low-income families to pay back the cost of public assistance through their child support payments. California State Senator Nancy Skinner referenced and cited the impact report to sponsor a bill to increase the amount of child support paid directly to families. Read the full report here.
